Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and assist with therapeutic radiopharmaceutical administrations using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment. The role involves reviewing orders, patient histories, and ensuring image quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities include PACS/RIS data transfer, collaboration with radiologists, and maintaining imaging equipment and a compliant, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed radiologic technologist in radiography.
• CNMT certification within 1 year. RNT or NMTCB credentials preferred.
• Nuclear medicine experience and safety compliance required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administrations.
• Review orders and patient data for medical necessity.
• Ensure imaging quality and correct alignment of images.
• Transfer and verify image data in PACS and RIS systems.
• Maintain imaging equipment and supply inventories.
• Uphold patient safety and environmental standards.
