Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapies using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment, following department protocols and regulatory guidance. You will review orders, assess patient history, and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include acquiring and processing examinations, transferring images to PACS, assisting with student instruction, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA)
CNMT certification within 1 year
Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) within 1 year
BLS within 30 days

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapy administration.
Reviews orders and labs for medical necessity.
Ensures imaging quality and proper positioning.
Transfers and verifies images in PACS and communicates with Radiologist.
Maintains imaging equipment and safety standards.
