Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment. You will review cases with radiologists, ensure proper imaging quality, and maintain equipment and safety standards.

The role includes responsibilities for patient flow, scheduling, and potential cross-training within the department. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography in line with state requirements.
• CNMT within 1 year – NMTCB certification would be expected where applicable.
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) within 1 year.
• BLS training within 30 days as per AHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT equipment per department protocols.
• Reviews radiology cases with radiologist when appropriate and assesses patient history for medical necessity.
• Maintains imaging equipment, safety, and supply inventories; reports malfunctions promptly.
