Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment in line with department protocols. The role requires reviewing orders, patient history, and ensuring imaging quality and safety.

Candidate must have CNMT within 1 year and be licensed as Radiologic Technologist (IEMA). This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for relocations over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• CNMT required within 1 year
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA)
• BLS within 30 days (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment.
• Review cases with radiologist when appropriate and verify medical necessity.
• Maintain imaging equipment and supply inventories; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Transfer and verify image data in PACS and RIS; assist in scheduling and billing procedures.
• Assist in instruction of students and new staff; cross-train in other modalities.
