Job summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Carle Health performs diagnostic studies and assists with radiopharmaceutical administrations using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment, following department protocols and safety guidelines. This role includes patient scheduling, imaging quality review, data transfer to PACS, and collaboration with radiologists.

A College Diploma or Certificate in Radiologic Technology with CNMT and BLS certificates is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Radiologic Technology licensure and CNMT eligibility.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with Nuc Med and PET/CT workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
• Review orders, labs, and history for medical necessity and accuracy.
• Transfer images to PACS and assist radiologist with interpretations.
• Maintain equipment and safe patient flow; support cross-trained modalities.
