Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and assist with radiopharmaceutical administrations using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT equipment in accordance with policy and safety regulations. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for relocation over 50 miles.

The role requires licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, CNMT within 1 year, and BLS within 30 days, with opportunities to mentor students and support department operations.

Qualifications

College diploma or related field in Radiologic Technology.
CNMT certification within 1 year; NMTCB credentialing.
BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration using Nuc Med/PET/CT equipment.
Reviews radiology orders and patient history for medical necessity.
Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and communicates with Radiologist.
Maintains imaging equipment and work area; reports malfunctions.
