Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and assist with radiopharmaceutical therapies using Nuc Med/PET-CT equipment. The role requires clinic-ready patient care, image acquisition and transfer to PACS, and collaboration with Radiologists.

A sign-on bonus of $5,000 and relocation assistance are offered for relocating candidates. Licensure and CNMT/ NMTCB eligibility are required or pursued within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Education in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
• CNMT certification or eligibility required.
• BLS certification within 30 days desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical procedures per protocol.
• Reviews orders and patient history to ensure medical necessity and accuracy.
• Administers IV radiopharmaceuticals and conducts pregnancy screening as needed.
• Maintains imaging equipment and supplies; ensures safety and compliance.
