Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services in a busy hospital setting in Georgia. You will prepare, position, and perform exams, ensuring high-quality diagnostic studies while following department procedures.

You will have at least 1 year of clinical experience, ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification, and BLS. The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay, sign-on bonus, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: 1 year in a clinical setting caring for patients (rotations accepted).
• Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; BLS or Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality while maintaining patient safety.
• Report equipment problems and coordinate with service providers.
• Maintain infection control and cleanliness of equipment.
• Ensure patient privacy, comfort, and correct patient identification.
• Operate NM equipment and perform procedures with independent judgment.
