Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services and high-quality diagnostic studies. The role requires independent judgment, accurate protocol execution, and collaboration with the radiology team in a full-time day shift within Georgia.

Qualified candidates have an Associate's in Radiologic Technology, 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience caring for patients; nuclear medicine preferred.
• Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; BLS required or instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging quality.
• Verifies orders and patient identity; follows infection control and safety protocols.
• Operates NM equipment, restocks supplies, and assists team as needed.
• Maintains patient privacy, documents procedures, and participates in pre/post procedures.
