Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) in Marietta, GA. The role involves performing imaging studies with independence, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality diagnostic results in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Candidates must have an Associates in Radiologic Technology with ARRT Nuclear or equivalent certification; BLS instructor certification is required. Minimum 1 year clinical experience; Nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology is required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience is required.
• Nuclear medicine experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality and patient comfort.
• Report equipment malfunctions to ensure timely correction.
• Maintain infection control and clean, disinfect NM equipment.
• Verify patient identity and proper procedure orders.
• Provide patient care, pre/post procedural support and positioning.
• Restock supplies and maintain department readiness.
