Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team and contribute to compassionate, high-quality patient care. You will perform exams per department protocols, obtain quality studies, and ensure patient safety with independent judgment and professional collaboration.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Tech or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred; ARRT/Nuclear cert required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to adjust technique to optimize image quality.
• Maintains infection control and cleans equipment according to policy.
• Verifies orders and patient identity prior to procedures.
• Operates NM equipment and supports radiology team.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety throughout exams.
