Join to apply for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem Rotate role at Tenet Healthcare

Under minimal supervision, performs basic Nuclear Medicine procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing healthcare services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Must be skilled in Nuclear Medicine and complete established competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
  • Experience: Preferred 1-3 years
  • Certifications: ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT; AHA BLS; state license if required
Additional Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment
  • Assist practitioners with operation of radiation detection equipment
  • Order and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for procedures
  • Identify radioactive substances to complete procedures
  • Process and file films as needed
