Position Summary

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist produces radiographic images, interacts with healthcare staff and patients, and performs various radiologic exams. This role may involve floating to different clinics as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a 2-year ASRT-certified Radiology Technology program
  • Registered or eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arkansas in Radiology Technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CPR certification
  • Over one year of diagnostic radiology experience
Responsibilities
  • Perform optimal x-rays, lift 25 lbs or more
  • Rotate through modalities including portable, surgical, fluoroscopy, and emergency imaging
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
  • Engage in ongoing education
  • Answer phones and coordinate with hospital floors
  • Operate C-ARM and OARM equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
