Intervention Radiology Technologist Full Time Rotate

Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Intervention Radiology Technologist performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. They provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations, including assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. The technologist performs radiographic exams on all patients as necessary, completes established competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
  • Assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma cases.
Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
  • Preferred: Associates degree.
Experience
  • Required: 2-5 years of X-ray experience.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of IR experience.
Certifications
  • Required: ARRT (R); VI or CI preferred, BLS, state license if required.

Tenet complies with laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If offered employment, proof of full vaccination or an exemption must be provided prior to start date.
