Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Fort Wayne, IN to support diagnostic imaging and patient care in a hospital setting. The role operates within a single-technologist department, enabling workflow development and department build-out.

Qualifications

  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Requires active professional status (RT(NM) or CNMT) or board-eligible with credential within 6 months.
  • If board-eligible, must obtain Nuclear Medicine credential within 6 months of hire.
  • If performing SPECT/CT or PET/CT, CT certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical procedures for body function studies and imaging.
  • Position patients correctly and operate equipment to capture requested diagnostic images.
  • Handle radiopharmaceuticals and follow hospital, state, and federal regulations.
