Job summary

Indiana University Health System’s West Hospital seeks a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, image recording, and patient positioning from pediatric to geriatric.

Requirements include 0-3 years of experience, BLS, ARRT NM or NMTCB credentials (or board-eligible with credential within 6 months), ISDH license, and CT certification within 18 months if performing SPECT/CT or PET/CT. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30a-4p.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active status through RT(NM) or CNMT, or board-eligible with credential within 6 months.
• CT certification within 18 months if performing SPECT/CT or PET/CT.
• Indiana ISDH license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and operate equipment and position patients to record diagnostic images.
• Comply with hospital, state and federal policies on radioactive materials and hazardous chemicals.
• Follow physician instructions and ensure patient safety across age groups.
