Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide procedures, image acquisition and radiopharmaceutical handling within our radiology department. The role includes operating nuclear medicine equipment, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will participate in rotating duties across nuclear cardiology and PET/CT and cover shifts including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with common software.

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures on patients, including imaging and function studies.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed and ensures safety.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients and calibrates equipment.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt and disposal per regulations.
• Performs daily QA and clerical duties (EPIC, PACS, scheduling).
• Rotates assignments between Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT; participates in on-call and weekend shifts.
