Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N)) or CNMT certification required.
• Credential must be current and applicable to nuclear medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of complex nuclear medicine procedures with a minimum accuracy rate; communicates with patients clearly and tactfully.
• Computes and prepares accurate dosages for each exam.
• Maintains compliance with safety, storage and disposal regulations for radio-isotopes.
• Schedules and coordinates patient examinations and ensures optimal utilization of resources.
• Maintains records of radio-isotopes usage and contributes to department productivity goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
