Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New Jersey to perform radionuclide procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure safety protocols. The role includes patient preparation, QA, and on-call duties in a collaborative radiology department.

Qualifications include ARRT(N) and CNMT Registry, strong communication, and computer skills. NJ license and BLS are expected; sign-on bonus available for eligible full-time candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures on patients including organ imaging and function studies.
• Selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
• Provides radiation protection per safety guidelines.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
• Calibrates equipment and assays radionuclides.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt, use, and disposal per regulations.
• Performs daily and monthly QA and on-call duties as needed.
• Rotates between Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT as required.
