Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures following department protocols.
• Operates HIS/RIS/PACS, verifies orders, documents workflow and schedules exams.
• Prepares radiopharmaceutical doses, calculates activity and verifies dose accuracy.
• Explains procedures to patients, obtains consent, ensures comfort and privacy.
• Assists physicians during procedures and maintains equipment and records.
• Directs and monitors student clinical training as part of education responsibilities.

Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology

Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
