Job summary

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's or Certificate in Radiologic Technology, NYS licensure in Nuclear Medicine, and ARRT-N or NMTCB certification. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a NYS license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB Certification.
• New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures.
• Operates hospital and radiology information systems related to nuclear medicine.
• Ensures patient identification and consent; maintains patient privacy and comfort.
• Prepares radiopharmaceutical doses and calculates activity for procedures.
• Maintains quality control, safety, and documentation per department protocols.
• Assists physicians during procedures and supports student clinical training.
