Job summary

Qualifications

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine is required.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine is required or NMTCB certification is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review physician orders for accuracy.
• Explain procedures, obtain consent when required, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging per established protocols.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and acquire/ evaluate diagnostic images.
• Maintain radiopharmaceutical handling, dosing, and disposal in accordance with safety regs.
• Document procedures, patient interactions, and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
