Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York, NY, invites applications for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FGP) - Rego Park. The role performs medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures and supports patient safety and regulatory compliance under general supervision.

You will work with physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic results, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and document procedures while upholding NYU Langone Health's commitment to equity and exceptional

Qualifications

• Must have NY State Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures under supervision.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging per protocols.
• Explain procedures, obtain consent, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Operate gamma cameras and transmit images to PACS for interpretation.
• Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with regulations.
