Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York seeks an Ultrasound Technologist-Woodhull to perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures under supervision while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating gamma cameras and imaging equipment, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in radiologic technology required.
• Licensure in NYS for radiologic technologist (nuclear medicine) required.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patients, obtain consent, and ensure safety and privacy.
• Operate imaging equipment and acquire diagnostic images.
• Maintain documentation and ensure quality control.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team for patient care.
