Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FGP) for the Brooklyn/Hosp Bklyn area. You will perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures under supervision, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety.

Responsibilities include radiopharmaceutical handling, image acquisition, data management, and collaboration with physicians. Strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and education of students may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB Certification required; NYS Nuclear Medicine Technologist License required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review orders for accuracy.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging per protocol.
• Operate imaging equipment and acquire/deliver diagnostic images.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all procedures.
• Document procedures and ensure proper data transfer to PACS.
