Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain quality studies.

The role requires completing an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program, ARRT-N or CNMT certification, and at least 1 year NM experience. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus may be offered. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication with physicians, patients and staff.
• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Licensed/certified in nuclear medicine per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures per department protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, proper identification, and privacy during exams.
• Prepare and position patients, operate imaging equipment and PACS workflow.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and restocking as needed.
• Document procedures and communicate results to radiologists.
