Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Georgia to perform imaging procedures with high regard for patient safety and comfort. The role requires completing an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and no fewer than 1 year of NM experience.

You will operate NM equipment, verify orders, and document outcomes while supporting a collaborative team in a fast-paced hospital setting. Position is full-time, daytime shift with competitive pay, sign-on bonus up to $20,000, and relocation

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders for procedures and obtain patient history.
• Prepare patient and position for NM procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort throughout exams.
• Operate NM equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Document procedures in RIS and send studies to PACS.
• Restock supplies and maintain NM department cleanliness.
