Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform exams per department procedures and deliver safe, age‑appropriate imaging. The technologist sets up equipment and positions patients while maintaining quality studies and patient comfort.

This role requires AMA approved NM training, ARRT‑N or CNMT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of NM experience. The position offers a day shift, full‑time schedule, and benefits, with sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• All certifications required upon hire (ARRT‑N or CNMT; BLS or ARC‑BLS; Instructor BLS optional).
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform exams per department protocols and ensure image quality.
• Verify patient identity and safety; administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed.
• Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and support life‑support systems as needed.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and communicate results to radiologists.
