Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate care and perform a wide range of imaging exams. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies with independent judgment.

The role requires an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-N or CNMT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year NM experience. It offers collaborative work and career growth through Wellstar programs.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year NM experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and verify patient identity.
• Prepare and position patients, ensure image quality and accuracy.
• Assist other technologists and maintain equipment per policy.
• Follow Joint Commission standards and Wellstar policies.
