Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform quality nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include participation in call/holiday coverage, maintaining competency, and strict adherence to radiation safety. Licensure requirements include NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS; experience and CNMT/NMT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
• 1 year of experience required.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree.
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care.
• Exhibits excellent customer service and participates in call/holiday coverage.
• Maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety.
