Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our radiology team in Texas. Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform NM/PET procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals and ensure radiation safety.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB or NMT certification, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB, Texas MRT license, and BLS. Cross-training opportunities and a supportive work environment are offered by our hospital.

Qualifications

• Must hold NMTCB or NMT certification.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• Texas MRT license required; BLS provider credential.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform NM/PET procedures.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and operate nuclear medicine equipment.
• Maintain quality control and radiation safety practices.
• Assess indications and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Document images and results according to department protocols.
