The Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Wellstar plays a key role in providing effective, patient‑centered nuclear medicine imaging. The incumbent sets up imaging equipment, positions patients, and ensures safe administration of radiopharmaceuticals while maintaining high standards of image quality.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, adhering to procedures, documenting pre/post care, and collaborating with radiologists.

Competenze

• Requires Accredited Program Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification and BLS/CPR.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Perform nuclear medicine exams per department protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment; position patients; verify patient identity.
• Review images, ensure quality, and transmit studies to PACS/RIS.
• Maintain equipment and assist with other modalities as needed.
