Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing department exams per procedures. You will set up equipment, position patients, and perform a wide range of imaging procedures with independent judgement and initiative.

The role requires meeting education and licensing standards, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to Joint Commission policies.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit excellent communication skills due to frequent verbal and written communications with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Verifies proper clinician order for procedure and gathers complete clinical history.
• Prepares patient and equipment, ensures correct patient identification and safety protocols.
• Assists with various modalities, restocks equipment, and maintains NM department cleanliness.
• Documents procedures, coordinates with Radiologist, and follows all hospital policies.
