Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team. You will perform exams per department protocols, ensure patient safety, obtain high-quality diagnostic studies, and operate NM equipment with confidence.

The role requires ARRT‑N or CNMT certification, accredited Radiologic Technology program, and strong communication. You will verify orders, maintain sterile technique, document in RIS and PACS, and participate in education and quality control.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT‑N or CNMT certification is required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine exams per department procedures.
• Verify clinician orders and patient identity; ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare, operate and troubleshoot NM equipment; maintain supply inventory.
• Process studies in RIS and PACS and ensure timely reporting.
