Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and quality diagnostic imaging. The role requires performing a variety of NM procedures, maintaining equipment, and following department protocols to ensure patient safety.

The position supports a Monday–Friday, day-shift schedule and offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 along with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• ARRT‑N or CNMT certification required.
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history with two identifiers.
• Perform NM exams and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment, infection control and supply readiness.
• Assist other modalities as needed and support team operations.
• Document procedures in RIS and communicate findings to radiologists.
