Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including general and cardiac studies.

You will review patient histories, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform venipuncture, label images, and input data into the radiology system. The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification and BLS, with no prior experience required; strong communication and safety skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Tech registration or NMTCB CNMT certification.
• BLS certification within 6 months.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including general and cardiac.
• Review patient records and physician orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage venipuncture/IV access.
• Label and process images, document patient data and billing codes.
• Maintain regulatory records and perform QA tests on equipment.
• Ensure ALARA principles and safety measures.
• Assist patient positioning and transport, considering age-specific needs.
