Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent knowledge.
  • ARRT(N) registration within 1 year or NMTCB CNMT within 6 months.
  • No experience required.
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic to intermediate nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac and general studies.
  • Review medical records, histories, results and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per clinician prescription.
  • Perform venipuncture and peripheral IV placement.
  • Maintain and document records in radiology information systems and billing codes.
