Job summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Carle Health performs diagnostic studies and administers radiopharmaceuticals using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment, following department protocols and safety guidelines.

Qualified candidates will have radiologic technology licensure, CNMT within 1 year, and BLS within 30 days. A $5,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance is available for eligible relocations over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Must possess Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Radiography).
• CNMT certification within 1 year from NMTCB.
• NMT/Nuclear Medicine licensure/registration within 1 year or as required.
• BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic studies using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT equipment.
• Administer IV radiopharmaceuticals and perform veni-puncture.
• Review radiology orders and patient history for medical necessity.
• Transfer and verify image data in PACS; communicate with Radiologist.
