Zusammenfassung

Avera St Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, SD, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform complex in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for outpatients. You’ll support imaging for diagnosis and treatment across diseases, while maintaining safety and accuracy in dosing and handling radiopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, following NRC rules, and collaborating with physicians.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's or certificate from an accredited School of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification on hire.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-3 years radiologic or nuclear medicine experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepare diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
• Operate imaging and calibration equipment and maintain QC on materials.
• Assist in developing and implementing new procedures.
• Follow NRC regulations and hospital policies.
• Perform nuclear medicine exams per policy; ensure correct dosing and timing.
• Record radionuclide usage and patient doses accurately.
• Assist physicians with specific diagnostic nuclear medicine exams.
• Support brachytherapy implant procedures and related inventory.
• Maintain equipment and related computer data systems.
