Avera Fox Run Medical Plaza in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform basic and complex Nuclear Medicine procedures for outpatients, supporting diagnostic scans and therapies. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging systems, and ensuring quality control.

You will assist in new procedures, adhere to NRC regulations, and document patient doses and radionuclide handling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work required hours and communicate effectively.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform duties.
• Ability to follow policies and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Prepares diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
• Operates imaging equipment and QC equipment; performs tests.
• Assists in development and implementation of new procedures.
• Follows NRC regulations and maintains accurate records.
• Assists physicians in performing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams.
• Calculates and administers radiopharmaceuticals; manages patient dose records.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and related data systems.
• Assists with brachytherapy implant procedures and monitoring.
