Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support Greenfield and St. Luke’s Medical Center clinic locations. The role involves performing diverse nuclear medicine procedures, reviewing orders, and ensuring patient safety and imaging quality.

Expect a Monday–Friday day schedule with no weekends or holidays, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits starting on day one. Certification requirements include CNMT or ARRT (N).

Qualifications

• Licensure as Nuclear Medicine Technologist per CNMT or ARRT (N).
• Initial or continuing certification as required with BLS within timeframe.
• Experience not strictly required but preferred for speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced nuclear medicine procedures including general, cardiac, therapy and PET/CT when available.
• Review patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy and safety.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and venipuncture for injections; manage IV access as needed.
• Maintain ALARA practices and accurate dose records; document billing codes and study data.
• Post-process images, label correctly, and communicate findings with care team.
• Support staff and students; participate in accreditation activities.
