Job summary

Avera St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN, day shift basis. You will perform basic and complex in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for outpatients, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to moving health forward for patients and families. Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, following NRC regulations, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s or a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
• CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT certification upon hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years experience as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
• Operates imaging equipment and radiopharmaceutical calibration equipment.
• Performs quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
• Assists in development and implementation of new procedures.
• Follows NRC regulations and completes exams per policy.
