Job summary

Avera Health in Yankton, SD is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for outpatients, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging and calibration equipment, and ensure quality control. The role requires CNMT or NMTCB/ARRT upon hire and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's or certificate in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine required or on hire.
CNMT or NMTCB certification upon hire (ARRT accepted).
Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

Prepare diagnostic/therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
Operate imaging and radiopharmaceutical calibration equipment.
Perform quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
Assist in developing and implementing new procedures.
Follow NRC regulations and complete exams per policy.
