Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The successful candidate:

*Sign-on bonus of $7500

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm with rotating on-call responsibilities for weekends and holidays.

Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for:

  • Patient assessment relative to the performance of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
  • Promotion of radiation safety.
  • Demonstration of safe and effective patient care.
  • Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and performance of scanning procedures for both in-patients and out-patients, working under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
  • Preparation and administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and microspheres under the direction of a Board-Certified Radiologist.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine.
  • A.R.R.T. registry in Nuclear Medicine or N.M.T.C.B. registry.
  • Licensed in the State of Illinois.
  • BCLS CPR Certification.
