Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT Registered Technologist RT(R).
  • CPR-BLS certification required.

Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:

  1. Provides nuclear medicine imaging and patient care services.
  2. Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
  3. Follows radiopharmaceutical safety standards for patient and operator safety.
  4. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical factors accurately.
  5. Orders, prepares, administers, and disposes of radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols.
  6. Maintains a quality assurance program as per Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT Registered Technologist RT(R).
  • CPR-BLS certification.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Preferred:

  • One year of experience.
