An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team. PRN - varied hours
Crystal Lake Hospital
Use radioactive materials to diagnose and treat diseases under the supervision of a physician. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging devices to record the distribution within a patient's body. May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and be on call. Flex hours and overtime may be necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites. Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program. Minimum 1-3 years experience preferred but will consider new graduates.
CNMT or ARRT(N) required. IEMA-DNS accreditation required if working in Illinois. CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Driver's license or credit check, background checks, ability to follow instructions.
Problem solving, interpersonal skills, communication skills, professionalism, adaptability.
Moderate noise level. Occupational exposure category A. Patient age groups served include neonates to geriatrics.
Access to patient care information necessary for job duties.
Partners, physicians, patients/families, visitors, vendors.
Regular walking, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, standing, lifting, and moving patients and equipment. Specific vision abilities required.
Works independently with limited supervision. Provides clinical supervision to students and aides.
