Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging and patient care. The role requires preparing patients, operating NM equipment, and ensuring safety per department procedures. Includes shift-based PRN work with potential up to 40 hours per week and access to education programs.

Required: Associates in Radiologic Technology, 1 year clinical experience, ARRT Nuclear or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, and BLS certification. Preference for nuclear medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care.
• Nuclear medicine experience is preferred.
• Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain best study while maintaining image quality.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
• Prepare patient, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control per department policy.
