Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support patient imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures. You will work under a Nuclear Medicine Physician to perform PET/NM procedures, operate cameras, and ensure safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.

Required state radiologic technologist registration, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. NMTCB or AART NM certification is expected, with NMTCB PET preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or NM-T AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety practices.
