Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support PET imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures. You will work under a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performing a range of diagnostic tests for in-patients and out-patients with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires NMTCB/NMT credentials, state radiologic technician registration, and CPR/ACLS readiness. This is an on-site PRN position at a major Dallas hospital with comprehensive benefits and ongoing education

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential is required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or NMT (AART NM) credentials are required.
• NMTCB PET Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates adherence to radiation safety standards.
