Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician. The role involves applying isotopes for radiographic diagnosis, handling in-patient and outpatient tests, and using diverse nuclear medicine equipment.

Qualified candidates will have state-registered radiologic tech credentials; NMTCB/NMT certs are required or NMTCB PET certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independence and initiative.
• Conduct tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety practices.
